Pay Scales

The pay of all officers is increased by:

  • 2.55% with effect from 1 September 2010
  • 1% with effect from 1 September 2013

The two-year government imposed pay freeze on public sector pay will expire at the earliest on August 31, 2013.

Following the ratification by the Home Secretary of the recommendations from the two Winsor reports relating to aspects officer pay, the pay of sergeants, inspectors and chief inspectors is correct as of April 2013.
